I don't doubt it. The river looked really high when I was driving through Green River last night on my way back to Moab. The Colorado has also risen dramatically since last weekend. It was a swirling angry mess in the canyon east of Moab on my way out today.

I spent a few days on the White Rim after the Moab meetup last week. The Green river was impressively high. Nobody mentioned flooding issues as I acquired my permit on Saturday. Then I read about it in the Moab paper afterwards! Sure glad I didn't get caught on the wrong side of that wash!
