Moraine Fog
I decided to go to the Sprague lake area yesterday morning but when was passing through Moraine Park area saw a nice cover of fog over the valley and got stuck there. I was almost sure that the cloudman was somewhere near by. Met Richard from Estes Park (he is not a member here but he knows quite a few RMNP members). Was nice to share the spectacle with someone else apart from the elk herd at a distance.

C&C highly appreciated as always ...

#5 .. and finally the herd at a distance - liked the way the light was shining on the Aspens (I think)

#5 is the standout with the foggy backdrop for the elk herd. The dark FG isn't helping 1-3.

Really sweeet photos. #3 and #5 are my favorites.

#5 is KILLER--awesome shot! Also really like 3--some great diaganols leading the meat and potatoes to the dessert in back. 1 & 2 really pale in comparison, just too 'plain' overall. :wavey:

5 is my favorite. Like 3 as well, and would like 2 more without the brush in the lower left.

Like the rest, I like #'s 3 & 5 the best. #1 is pretty underexposed and the rock near the center makes for a pretty static composition. Compare it with the delightful composition of #3. #2 could have been a contender if you had removed that brush in the lower left.
I would be well pleased if I came home with just one good image, so you had a pretty great day!

#5 all the way!!! I might be tempted to slightly enhance both brightness and contrast on the lit trees and and elk herd. Great find.

Another vote for 3&5. I like the elk against the wafting fog.
