A new book called The Exultant Ark by Jonathan Balcombe is out and it features tons of Nate Chappell's photos, nice work Nate. And one of mine too which is nice.
Thanks Bill, congrats to you too for your Pika shot, it's outstanding!
In addition to my 7 photos and Bill's, Ken Archer had 6 photos in the book and there are quite a few other current and former NPN members with photos in the book including (I may have missed some so feel free to chime in)
Buck Ward
Simon Bennett
Danny Laredo
Andrey Antov
Ray Barlow
Scott Linstead
Patrick Lorenz
Arthur Sevestre
Vic Harrris
Jasper Doest
Mark Andrews
The book is a really nice collection of 132 images of animals involved in different aspects of animal behavior including play, touch, companionship and mating. The author discusses the role of pleasure in animal behavior in the book. It's hardcover. If anyone is interested in purchasing it, the last time I checked it retailed for $22.60 on Amazon.
The author had contacted me through NPN's PhotoPortfolios.net, so I figured there probably are some other NPN members there, but hey, that's quite a list! Congratulations everyone. I haven't seen the book yet.
