The Gift That Keeps On Giving
That's what Pikes Peak is to me. Here's a selection of shots from yesterday morning. As many times as I've shot Pikes Peak and the Front Range in these conditions, it's never been the same twice.

Looks like a fun morning. Wish I had gotten out. #4 is my fav. The frosted trees, diagonal lines, and semi-clear peak all come together. Sweet!

Boy, I'll say! I'd love to see a faces of PP gallery from your lifelong fascination with the peak.

Nice set Todd, #4 is my favorite, I like the dusting of snow and just the minimal amount of snow to show off the mountain.

4 is the winner for me as well, but also like 1.

What a great morning you had! I like each and every one of these, but #4 really grabs me. Very well done, Todd

Very nice! Really partial to the vertical crop.

Love your disembodied mountain shots!

Nice set! Really like #5 :wavey:

#4---That spot of red in the lower right adds an extra bit of interest to an already fabulous shot. The others are also wonderful with either 1,2,3,or 5 coming in a close second. Dave's suggestion makes a lot of sense!

Damn nice set!

I am going to have to call "bogus"!!!! You dare title a post "the gift that keeps on giving" and then it not be a picture of the Jelly of the Month Club but instead some awesome mountain scenery.......

This is trickery of the lowest kind....

 :jump:

#4 does it for me. I'd love to see it with a letterbox crop.

Jelly of the Month? Lingerie of the Month, maybe. (for my gal, not for me.)

"jelly of the month" Sorry, I thought some folks might get that one...

Jelly of the month club is a reference to National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Good old Clark Griswold does not get a cash Christmas bonus from work like he expects instead he gets enrolled in the jelly of the month club. To which his cousin Eddie says "Clark, that's the gift that keeps on giving the whole year through."

Its one of those movie lines that I cannot resist running with.

My Faves are #2 & #4 personally. In all a Uber set of PP images :toast:

I'm partial to the bit where the teen girls are discussing French kissing and the one says something like "Daddy says I do it best." Eeewww!
