just an oriole?
I took this last night at Quivira NWR, central KS, in a marshy area. The brightness of the yellow just struck me as odd for a female Baltimore Oriole, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is one. I left a Yellow Warbler in one of the crops for size comparison. These are heavy crops. Thanks in advance.

Looks like a female baltimore oriole and in the 2nd image a male yellow warbler is coming in to check things out. It could possibly be a female Orchard Oriole but I'm not so sure

I just looked up female Orchard Oriole, and I think that nails it. There were a couple of males around, so it makes sense. Thanks.
