Just wondering if anyone has any experience with TRG Pages and/or photomoto.
I currently use Smugmug but am starting to look around for something else. Any comments welcome.

Carson, if you have time to search this site, this subject prompted a good discussion during the past 6 months. My recollection is that Zenfolio received good references.

Do you mean TTG Pages & Fotomoto? (My search for TRG isn't finding anything relevant.)

My website - codphotography.ca - is built with The Turning Gate (TTG) modules and uses Fotomoto. I was recently experimenting with options for my web site. I use Zenfolio for another site I manage, I looked at the SmugMug trial, and experimented with creating a site from scratch, but settled on TTG.

The Turning Gate creates several Adobe Lightroom modules that allow you to create galleries and a full web site to hold those galleries directly from Lightroom's web module. There are several TTG modules that work together. Which ones you need depends on what you want to do with your site. My site currently uses the TTG Pages and TTG Highslide Gallery Pro web engines. The galleries are HTML5 and iThing friendly. It took me a while to get my head around TTG's concept and to develop an efficient workflow, but now the result is easy to maintain. Sites like Zenfolio or SmugMug have easier learning curves. IF TTG interests you your best bet is to spend some time exploring TTG's website - http://theturninggate.net/

Fotomoto lets you sell images from most websites, not just TTG based sites. Adding a small piece of html to your site autmatically adds Fotomoto links to your images. From your dashboard on Fotomoto's website you can customize your sales options, print types & sizes, prices, etc. Again check out Fotomoto's website - http://www.fotomoto.com/ Adding Fotomoto to your site is free. They take 15% of any sales you make.

Chris

Thanks Chris, yes, I did mean TTG, sorry. I'm still looking at the whole effort to do this and haven't made a decision as yet. Just trying to get a little more flexibility.
Got a little side tracked at the moment building a linux box so everything else is on hold for the moment.
