Mcclure Pass
I've been itching to get out with the camera, maybe this Sunday. Seems like it's been forever! In the mean time here's one from a few years ago. Another "grand view" via long range lens.

I love the view from here. Nice scene. The dramatic clouds are great! The white balance feels just a tad cool to me, even with the dark clouds. The aspen greens in the background are what made me think that. But that may be the feeling you're going after, so take this with a grain of salt.

Thanks for sharing!

Makes me miss living around there! I love the moodiness and gloom here, but I agree with Kalin's observations. I'd go just a tad warmer, though certainly not enough to feel warm overall.

Thanks for taking time to comment. I am a sucker for the darker stuff.

This is really nice, Russ. I like that sky and the foreground lighting. I think neutralizing some of the cyan would really help.

Great dramatic sky!
