Just a quick taste
I just walked in the door from my 9 day trip to Washington and Oregon. Took a ton of shots so I have lots of processing to do. This is one shot I wanted to redo from my trip to Palouse Falls last fall. The original shot I took was really lame. I don't like heights so I didn't get the calssi shot that Chip Phillips had but I still like this one a lot. Sunset didn't cooperate too much...can't do much about that.

Polarizer, 3 stop ND filter, 2 stop soft grad

Let me know what you think.

This is strange...the processed image looks much lighter. I saved for web as S-rgb

Beautiful shot Jack, but you are such a tease.

Since you were there for 9 days I expect to see a lot more shots from you!

Keep 'em coming!

That's a great start, Jack! Can't wait to see more. Excellent comp, natural color and a peaceful feeling. Well done.

Very nice, Jack! Exposure looks good here to me, not sure what you're seeing with the web version. I like the pearly sky, a more lurid sunrise might draw too much attention from the falls and the landscape.

Love it. That is an unusual view of the falls. I look forward to more of your images since I grew up in Oregon and lived for many years in Washington.

Hi Jack,
The subtly of the sky allows you to focus your attention to the falls without distraction. A very well balanced image in my opinion.

Very nice image Jack...looking forward to seeing more from your trip....BTW - I totally get the heights thing...Mt Evans makes me pee my pants every year....if fact, I won't drive it. Someone else has to be at the wheel.
