She may have left due to computer problems that lasted FOREVER, or from a loss of interest in subject matter, or even possibly due to the complete lack of time due to job and life. If found, please return her. Thank you.
I am very sorry for my lack of participation for awhile. I hope to be back more often. I did keep in touch with your posts with other's computers and my i-pod. But, typing or navigating on that small thing is just impossible. Good for lurking, though.
All of you have been cranking out some excellent images, my friends!
Keep them coming.
The shots I'm posting are from the Flatirons last Saturday and while they are anything but groundbreaking or dramatic, they reflect exactly what I really needed that morning. With all of the frenetic life happenings of late, what was best for me was this quietly breaking morning with the birds singings so sweetly, and the wind and light so gentle, instead of a glorious rising. A soul soothing experience. Perfect!
The wildflowers were just getting started with golden banner and scattered wild irises. They should be even better next week.
Welcome back, Morris! I was wondering about your whereabouts.
The image of the iris amidst that thorny branch is absolutely brilliant! The contrasts between the two are a visual treat.
Your 'development' is pitch perfect, too. I think that this is one of the best and most creative captures I've seen from you.
Morris - welcome back. I like the iris the best also. I love how the DOF caught the one thorn to act as a counterpoint to the softness of the flower. I'll second John on the development also.
Good to see you Morris! That iris is wonderful among the thorns, and that first shot ain't half bed either. I understand where you're coming from, winter and spring were pretty frustrating for me too this year.
Morris, I absolutely LOVE that iris and thorn shot. Hang on to that one for Easter next year. You might just find a market for it. The first thing I thought when I saw it was Easter. I liked the others too, by the way.
Welcome back, Morris. It was a nice morning, wasn't it? I remember being a little bummed about the light, but it turned out to be really pleasant. I too thought "Easter" when I saw that last one. Love the comp in #2.
Morris, I'm not much of a "poster" these days, but I always enjoy your photos and am glad to see you're back. The next couple of weeks whould make for some nice foothills wildflowers after all that rain.
I was wondering WT heck you were talking about muses...shows how attentive ive been to RMNP lately. Well, youve shamed me into going without sleep so i can post a token shot in this forum, cause i miss not being here too!
These are really beautiful, BTW

Rod and Paul, I like your Easter suggestion!
Roger, we can only hope, huh?
