Lots of cinnamon teal at the Ridgfield Refuge this time of year. I caught this one in his beautiful breeding plumage taking a nap.

Wow, this is fantastic, Craig. Serene, excellent background, awesome colors, perfection.

Beautiful. The contrast between the green and 'browns' make that 'duck' stand out!

Do your eyes see these colors? Just curious because you sure nailed this one. Just gorgeous. My only suggestion is a slight CCW rotation (so the eyes line up vertically).

The colors work so well together. The bird is razor sharp and there aren't any distractions in the forground or background except fot that bright in the water just below the front of the bird.

Thank you John, this is about the 3 or 4th time you have reminded me to rotate a waterfowl image. I will make an effort from here on out to remember this easy and effective check. Erik, thanks also, here is a repost with the lighter water blur toned down, not so eye catching now.

This is outstanding Craig. The repost looks perfect to me. I really like the cinnamon color of the bird and how it contrasts with the green reflections. Well done.
