The Denver Botanic Gardens
I decided to go to the botanic gardens yesterday afternoon even though we had bright sun and wind. Boy, am I glad I did! If you have a chance, GO! The poppies are in bloom, as well as many other flowers. Their iris display was not as extensive as Hudson, but there was so much more to see overall. I hope to go this coming week before work to explore more with fewer crowds. Here's a poppy from today! Happy Memorial Day!

Very nice Anne! Love the complementary colors you captured. Perfect focal point too.

I really love this comp, it's not something I ever would have thought about. In case I didn't get my point across, I really do love it!

Colors and composition are extremely lovely and luscious, Anne. As noted, the focal point is perfect.
Few do this type of work better than you.

Oh man, is this sweet! Marvelous color and love your use of dof. The wash of colors in the background is just as gorgeous. :toast:
