Picking up on John's snake theme.. I ran into this guy while doing some macro photography this weekend. He was relaxing amongst the flowers enjoying a quiet day. The face of the snake reminded me of the Raptors in Jurassic Park...those watching eyes! Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend.

Nice image Koveh! Did you use more than one exposure since only the snakes head and the upper right flowers are in focus?

The sharpeness and oof selection really make this pop, Koveh. Nice shot!

So peaceful with the flowers! I think it would be jarring to see that staring back at me through my macro lens! Nice shot.

Great eye contact. The flowers add a nice splash of color.

Nice one, Koveh. I love the contrast between his sharp head and the oof background.

Thanks all!

Jack, this is a single exposure hand held. The shallow DoF is due to a 150mm lens at F2.8.

Great shot, Koveh! He certainly does look intent. I have two ball pythons and find them to be great little pets, but when they get that look on their faces, I'm very glad I'm not a mouse!

Good one Koveh. I love the snake in the flowers.

I can't believe I'm going to say this: That is a lovely shot of a snake. Great light and excellent use of shallow dof.

Great shot! The flowers really give it a nice touch.

Very, very cool, Koveh! Certainly one of the more unique (and beautiful) snake images I've seen.

This rocks! JR ran into this guy also! I really like this shot, but I feel like the flowers in the urc are competing for my attention. Really excellent use of dof and great eye contact!
