Chalk Mountain Country
I spent a couple of days over the Memorial Day weekend doing drives out west of Fort Worth looking for images. Had one day of clear and another with nice moving clouds.

Here are a few of the ones I really liked.

Sunrise in Palo Pinto County. With the movement in the clouds I added a solid ND to get down to a 30 second exposure.

The Chalk Mountain country southwest of Glen Rose.

This one on 4x5 with some Efke 25 film.

Darren, sounds like a fun trip. Number 2 reminds me of the land between Clayton, NM and Raton.

Thanks.

Yes it is kinda like NE New Mexico. One of the things I like about it.

Dottie, I believe it is the cut for the roadbed as the road curves around that way.
