The June 2001 Image Of The Month and Cover Image is from Mark Metternich. The depth captured in this scene makes this one of the most fascinating slot canyon images I've seen. Very nice work, Mark.
And now here for your reading pleasure are this month's articles.
First, in the last of the three-part series on understanding criticism, Alain Briot serves up a Few Words On Perseverance. This is some very good advice on life as well as photography.
Guy Tal offers his latest installment of The Essential Landscape, Every Story Tells an Image. This insightful piece is a must-read.
To Tweet or Not to Tweet, that is the question Samantha Chrysanthou poses. Here is some thoughtful advice on social media and marketing yourself as a photographer.
And Paul Faust gives us more book reviews for your summer reading list. Enjoy.
NPN members are encouraged can leave comments for articles. The authors certainly appreciate them.
Thanks to this months contributors, as usual. Have fun and enjoy the summer weather now upon us (at least those in the northern hemisphere).
