Went up to Rocky last night with the family and went out shooting nice and early. The sky was very hazy to the east and cloudless to the west...not very ideal. I tried to make the best of it.

1-Looking west.

I love #3. What a great catch. #2 is really nice too. The color and layers are very appealing.

Terrific capture of the ram at Alluvial Fan! :toast: I've never seen them over there. You are making me jealous. The layers image is nice as well.

Great set--that shot o fthe Ram over the water is AWESOME!

Thanks! We went to the ram crossing and the park ranger said they were over by the alluvial fan, so I had to get my butt over there ASAP! We stood there for about 20 minutes waiting for them to do something. Most people moved on, but I was hoping something cool would happen, and it did!

The elk in #5 made me run back to the car. He wasn't happy about me walking with him from across the road. He started raising up, then turning around and kicking his rear legs at me. I got the message and got away. I didn't want to be one of those guys on a home video on "When Animals Attack - 7."

Thanks for the comments!

Only the good ones catch a shot like #3. Great work. Those elk are going to look a little shaggy for a while yet. Great shots.

What a fine series! I like 'em all, esp. #'s 2 & 3.
#2 has great potential to be a real gem with some more 'development'.

Nice timing with the leap over the creek in #3.

John - What would you suggest for #2?
