An Infrequent Visitor
A pair of Red-headed Woodpeckers have been around my north Houston neighborhood for about a week now. They are infrequent visitors and I have only seen them in my neighborhood four or five times in the last 30 years. One of my favorite birds...I hope they stay and raise a family.

Nice capture Richard. I like the head turn and details of the wings. Hope they decide to hang around for awhile with you.
