Was in Badlands area last Saturday and tried a couple of comps ... If anyone of you experts can guide me with how to take the flares off the first one I am all ears. I tried cloning in PS and failed miserably.
These are some really fine images from a place that doesn't get a lot of attention from photographers, Soubhik.
The only way I know to fix #1 is by zooming in tightly and cloning with great care. Frankly, I'm not sure that it's worth the effort as it's the weakest one in your collection.
The last three are very good, though! I like #2 a lot. You depicted a touch of grace in a harsh land very nicely.
Both #'s 2 & 3 would benefit ('pop') from the 'Image Polish' technique you've seen described here before.
You found a nice composition for that sunset in #4. A larger version will show off that crescent moon nicely.
Well done, sir!
#2 and #4 work very well for me. I can't help with the flare as I struggle with them so much, I just don't bother shooting into the sun with my cheap lenses anymore.

I was reading this post about flare reduction a few days ago. The blended finger technique looks worthy.
