Nice image, just curious why such high ISO when you are using a tripod?

Jody, I'm experimenting a bit as I learn to use the D700. The light from the sky lights was not real bright. The D700 has an FX sensor and noise is almost nil. So, I started using the higher ISO under what most would consider low light conditions. So far, the results seem to be quite good. (IMO) I usually shoot with ISO 100 or 200.
Thanks for asking,
Dave

Pure art, Dave! You just might have an Editor's Pick over on the Flora Gallery with this one! Your arrangement, lighting, background, and choice of flowers are all superb! :toast: :toast:
