Does anyone know where I can get a new, Canon UK, EOS 7D body? All the stores I have tried are out of stock and I have heard from a Canon source that it could be three to four weeks for stock to come back in to the country! I have the cash waiting and want to get one as soon as possible before I go to Mull in September. Please email me direct at andygregory1@sky.com
www.ffordes.com show a new one in stock £1249. If you do not know them Ffordes are a fantastic company to deal with and will sell kit for you on a commission basis.
Stay clear of Photodirect on Ebay. I recently sent back a 7d to them for a refund. It had 2,000 shutter counts on it. They sold it on as a new item to a guy who then emailed me because my name was still in the cameras data.
Regards
Bob

Thanks Bob, I have already contacted FFordes but they don't have any even though one is listed on their web site!. Thanks John, I will have a look again but some of the ones on there are from possible dubious suppliers. If Amazon themselves have one I will buy it.

Thanks again to both of you, I have placed an order with Amazon and now look forward to getting to grips with the 7D.
