This Flicker has been hanging around my yard lately. Very difficult to get close. Very easily spooked. Grass is not my favorite perch but you take what they give you...

How exciting to see this. Beautiful shot. Jealous that it's not in my yard. The setting is just fine; unique and artistic result.

I like the dof. That bird pops right out in the photo. Right in its environment. :)

Great image David. I like the DOF with the bird in focus and everything else OOF. Don't see these guys on the ground very often, but I think everything worked out well in this image.
