This morning's full moon
I submitted three images of this morning's setting moon to my two harshest critics for review. Karcz and Bartlett chose this and the one following for posting on the forum. I'm sure another RMNP photographer captured something more dramatic but this was the best I could do from my deck at 0600.

By the time the moon reached a point low enough to include something more than sky the best of the color was gone. I saw the moon rise last evening but I was in my car, on the way home from a meeting. No chance to photograph it. I have the memory, however. Beautiful!

I'm jealous that this is the view from your deck! I really like the second one. The colors are very pleasing and I can enjoy each part of the image without rushing through it. :toast:

It pays to catch the early light. Very nice composition and soft colors.

I like the comp better i the second one Rod. The colors look pastel.
