Red Tail
Taken near Cowiche Mountain just west of Yakima (where the weeds are high and the wild flowers are beautiful). It appears that there is a family of three (two males (juvenile and adult)and a female). Handheld Canon 40D, Canon 2.8 70-200IS. A joy to watch and listen to them.

I like the positioning of the bird, but a tad dark. :)

Beautiful bird Jim. I'm sure it was fun watching the family fly around. Feels slightly underexposed to me as well.
