Yet Another Fire!!--Sangres near Santa Fe
I'm beginning to wonder if there will be any forests left after this year. This fire started today at about 3:30pm in Pacheco Canyon just north of the Santa Fe Ski Basin.

#3. The highest peak on the right is Lake Peak. Santa Fe Baldy is behind the smoke. You can just make out some of the ski runs.

Yuck!

It is a dry year here in the southwest.

Yikes! You are welcome to have some of our moisture. I've been hiking through deep snow and a rainstorm today.

At 6:00 it was estimated at 200+ acres and growing fast. High winds for tomorrow. No rain in sight. The fire is near the Hyde Park area (campgrounds and an old lodge).

I saw images from a friend in Pojaque. I wonder what caused it.
