I guess i am wondering why i took the shot also. :) Over time i keep coming back to it, so it has grown on me a little. Should it? Lol! Canon 5d with 24-70. Brightened the yellows and saturated all. Focused in to give it some depth. Thanks for your comments.

Personally, I think this is wicked cool. Surreal, mysterious, contrasts of lights and darks. Artistic. I like it a lot.

I like it too Cliff. The tones are interesting and it has an abstracty appeal. For some reason it reminds me of an old Black Sabbath album cover I use to have back in the day.

Very cool abstract image Cliff. I really like this one. My only nit is the reddish colored spots in the upper part of the image (I think they are branches). I might try to selectively decrease the luminance of these reds using the HSL in lightroom or the hue/sat layer in PS.
