NM Forest Closures

If anyone is planning a trip to NM to do some hiking/camping/photography in the National Forests or other areas like National Monuments and Parks, please be advised that many areas are closed, will be closing, or have other restrictions due to the insane fire danger. Here is a good site to check before heading to the Land of Enchantment:

Most of the Santa Fe National Forest and Cibola National Forest and most of Bandelier National Monument will be closed beginning tomorrow. :frown: Guess us New Mexicans will have to head north to enjoy the outdoors and take pictures of something besides fire and smoke!
