That is absolutely beautilicious, John! After a bit of a hiatus lately, I'm heading for the hills for a week next week, and CAN'T WAIT to chase a few of the rambunctious waterfalls in the mountains right now. Hope I find something this nice and portray it as perfectly.
This is totally awesome, John! Looks like the falls are raging right now. Always fun chasing waterfalls in the mountains, especially after baking in the heat of the desert. :-)
I like the addition of the little falls on the left. Beautiful falls. Nice work John.

John, this is great. Can I ask about technique? Haven't done much with moving water and getting that silky look. How long was the exposure and did you use a filter to make it longer.

Very nice! You can almost hear the falls crashing against the rocks.
Thanks, folks!
This was a 2 second exposure @ f16, and I used a polarizer to get rid of the sheen on the rocks and to help facilitate that long exposure.
Nice shot John. There seems to be some nice water stair stepping on the left side of the main falls. I love intimate (zoom) stair stepping water photos. Do people try to shoot these falls up close and personal? Or is there just too much floating water for our camera's?
