I got a free trial of Lightroom 3 in my bundle with the PS9. What do I gain from Lightroom that Elements can't give me? Anyone? :confused:

LR is super for cataloging images, and it does all of its adjustments non-destructively. Plus the built-in Camera Raw is the full version with that excellent Local Adjustment Brush and Gradient filter and the new Noise Reduction tab that works very well. The ACR that ships with Elements is stripped down. BUT, I would install both, because if you want to do some work with Layers and Blending modes, you can process and catalog your images with LR, then import them into Elements for your layered workflow.
