Will return…
Greetings to all,
I haven't been around the forums much except to browse a little, and sorry I haven't been commenting much either…

My beloved companion and Service Dog, Aenghus, has been ill for many months. He died a little over two weeks ago. His health, and now his absence, limit my getting out and about for photography, among other things.

I have some okay images from around the neighborhood, though, and will be back to posting in awhile, as I look for a puppy.

Good light and many photo ops for you, and I'll be seein' you…

Catherine, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. It's amazing the void that's left after a pet dies. Hopefully you'll find a new pup soon.

Catherine, I'm so sorry to hear your news. I know how much you depended on him. Best wishes as you look for a puppy and may s/he have all the warmth, affection, and intelligence of Aenghus.

Most sincerely,

Carol

So sad. It matters not the specie when a loved one goes, it hurts terribly. You are being very brave, greiving is vital.

I suppose most of us have had a dog who was dear to us, and share your sorrow. Certainly I do. I offer this page to you.

Catherine, very sorry for your loss. As a former veterinarian and current pet owner I can certainly relate to what you are experiencing right now. Hang in there and the offer to meet at the arboretum still stands (if you're still in the area). Take care.

Catherine, sorry for your loss. Losing a canine family member can be as devastating as losing a human one. We hope you find a new companion soon!

Cath, we've communicated - but just know here also that you're in my thoughts and prayers - I know Aenghus was a special gift, not only as a companion and friend, but as a needed Service dog.
