Glacier Lilies at Dumont Lake
Went up on Rabbit Ears Pass yesterday with family to find a few patches of snow to take the visiting kids snow sliding and found that the area around Dumont Lake had abundant glacier lilies in between remaining pockets of snow. And, around Fish Creek Falls down here in the valley, the arnica is covering some hillsides and the columbines are starting to make appearances in wooded areas. Looks like it's going to be a good one.

LOVE this shot! Goes to show that you don't have to have in-your-face blooms to make a successful wildflower image.

Great image. Pleasing to the eye. Hopefully it will be a great season.

Thanks for the info. I'll be up there next weekend for the balloon fest. Anyone else going?
