Quiet AM in Newport Harbor.

I took my group (Coast Workshop June 2011) there after sunrise last Saturday AM, before the fishermen arrived stocking their boats heading out for Halibut. We had the whole harbor to ourselves. Making images here is always a good exercise is "seeing",looking fore that simple, but communicative image.
I always say, we can shoot the... greatest sunrise and sunset, but walking around all the big commercial fishing boats ( Deadliest Catch size) and picking out the simple, but strong images there will help you learn to see.
Anyhow this image is a shack reflecting in the harbor. The water was like glass. What a great way to relax and start a great day.---JG

Love it Jack. This is a great combo of lines and shapes, and the perfect amount of reflection to just disorient a bit.

Nice work Jack, definitely a wall-hanger.
I think I like it even better as only the reflection. :toast:
