I took a few days off and went out to Utah for my annual spring trip. Weather was great and saw some cool places as usual. I thought I would just share a few photos with everyone, as I love to see where others have gone. I spent most of my time between Capitol Reef and Escalante.
Unfortunately, I am a terrible web designer, so I can only link to my home page, but click on the "Recent Photos" link on the left and that will take you to the Utah 2006 photos. Thanks for looking. Link to my site is below.

Man, those are awesome pics! My faves are #2 and #4. Especially #2. I love the subtle pastel quality to the light. Great find!

Great selection! Thanks for sharing these.
Where did you find that concretionary lag in your last 2 photos?

Chris, nice set. Your web site looks fine. You're probably too busy taking and editing photos to work much on web design anyway, right?
I was out at Monument Valley myself last weekend. No clouds, but otherwise it was a great time.

Chris - Great pictures. I found myself looking at your third picture, with the window, thinking to myself, "Nice. But I would like to see a tighter shot on that window". So I scroll down some more, and voila! there it is. Very nice.
Glad to see some new stuff from you, Chris. Really some great photos in that batch, too. Something about the tight shot of the window and reflection really sucked me in. Great eye!

Thanks for the comments everyone! Thanks for showing me that link trick Brent, i pulled my hair over that one, and you figured it out in 2 seconds!
Todd-I was surprised by #2, i was just snapping away in a small canyon and that one just popped out at me after I shot it.I am wishing now I would have spent a little more time and taken some more shots.
Darren-that shot of the window is one that i discovered last year (and posted last year)but have been dying to get back to. it is a really cool scene with the canyon walls reflecting the perfect pink light on the wall of the building. i am glad you like #6, cause i think that is my favorite from my trip.
Tony-glad to hear you were out and about too last weekend. clouds were pretty non-existant, but the weather couldn't have been better.
Bret-that middle shot of the slot canyon was definitly inspired by your recent shot you posted on NPN!
