Can anyone recommend a good book/text on digital imaging algorithms - preferably something published or at least updated in the last decade or so.

Thanks.

Pat, from time to time, Tim Grey has mentioned algorithms in his writings about digital imaging using Photoshop. Also, there is a list of references if you search for digital imaging algorithms via Google.

Thank you Bill. I appreciate the help. I actually have a list of four or five but was hoping I'd get a reference to one of them from someone who'd read one of them and actually liked the book. I have Parker's Algorithms for Digital Image Processing and Computer Vision and it still appears to be highly regarded but I was hoping someone could refer something more recent based on their own reading experience. I enjoy lurking in this forum and value the member's opinions. I should have been clearer about what I was looking for. Thank you very much for the suggestion.

Folks,

Thanks for reading this. I've gone ahead and ordered two books, (not available on kindle) "Principles of Image Processing Fundamental Techniques" by Burger and Burge and "Image Processing the Fundamentals" by Petrou and Petrou. The first was published in 2009 and the second is in a second edition and it was published in 2010. I'll see how they read.

I'm still interested though if anyone has a recommendation based on their own experience.
