Invitation - Fireworks Shooting - LOCATION CHANGE
If anyone is interested in shooting some fireworks tonight, Art Escobado and I will be photographing the fireworks over the City and County Building. Symphony at 8:00 and fireworks at 9:15.

Although we'll probably be shooting from the east side of Broadway right at the curb, we plan on meeting for dinner beforehand. Anyone who is interested should email me at caz AT cazimmerman DOT com. Or just look for me down there - 6'5", 300#, reading glasses hanging from a cord (librarian style) around my neck.

CHANGE OF PLANS:

Due to scaffolding around the tower at the top of the building (part of the rehab project), we're scouting a new location. As a result, I WILL NOT be in Civic Center Park. If anyone is interested in shooting fireworks in the downtown area tonight, please call me at: (the original Denver area code) nine zero zero three two one ocho. (trying to avoid crawlers picking up the number)

We are currently scouting another area that we have had success with in the past and are happy to have others join us when we are sure we've got a new location (and different fireworks show) worked out.

Quite a crowd at the Civic Center Park this evening. We enjoyed the concert and display, after spending the afternoon at the Cherry Creek Art festival.

Since I no longer have a camera, shooting it wasn't a option. :frown:

Bill, what happened to your camera????

Jack, my "dry" bag full of camera gear is slowly making its way to Lake Powell.
I'll post the gory details. :wavey:

Caz, I love this shot! Be sure and post your results! And Art, I hope you'll share a couple, too.

Bill, what a horror story! Please tell me it will be time for an upgrade.

Thanks Everyone! I've been posting each night on FaceBook instead of here. It seemed more appropriate.
