Crazy like a...
...fox! Had nearly a change-your-underwear moment last night as I headed down off of North Star Mountain just after sunset. In the waning light this critter darted across the trail in front of me. It must've felt guilty for scaring the crap outta me, because it allowed me about 20 minutes of shooting, then led me down the trail for a quarter mile once the light faded beyond anything shoot-able.

Nice one Todd! A little on the dark side but your caption explains the darker light. Are those wildflowers I see in the background,,,,hmmm you better email me this location

Nice capture and experience. You never know what the critters will do next  By the way that was one of my favorite programs many moons ago.

Great expression and excellent work to pull an image with this quality from such a high iso. :toast:

When the cricketts quit chirping, guess it's time to look around for the foxy escort.

This is excellent, Todd! Almost like the fox is sitting for a portrait shoot.
I really like the low light, and your 'blog post on what led to this moment was real interesting.
I wonder if you can't get just a bit more detail out of it's eyes to give him more vitality.
