I saw Richard's post and figured that since I was right down the road, I'd go check out all the water falling from the cliffs around Vail for myself. I found his cool double falls, but just a week later the smaller of the two was but a mere shadow of its former self. I found this one, which I was told never sees sunlight at any point of the year. I could maybe see a little light at sunrise around the summer solstice, but maybe not. Anyways, here's the view from one of the most beautiful bus stops in America.
Love the falls!
I was tempted by the recent falls flury to blast over to Ames and check out Mystic Falls. I've been wanting to hike up to them since doing some scouting from above last year. That itch is getting unbearable!
The first one is marvelous. I love those falls.
The second one was an immediate, "Oh, Mommy!" And the third one gets one, too. Really nice light in the last one, but the second one is a remarkable image!
Love that first one Todd!! I'm gonna wait a couple more weeks before going to Loveland Pass..I want a little more open water. Your reflection is nice though.
Beautiful waterfall, Todd. I like how you can see the rocks through the water. I also like the contrast of orange glow against the dark sky in the Loveland Pass photo.
