Please join me in welcoming John Williams as our new Moderator for the PNWNP group and forum. John has been an active participant and member for a number of years and has graciously agreed to step into this role, with minimal arm-twisting from me. Seriously, I know he will make a great leader for this group, providing his distinctive and supportive observations for us all. John is a veterinarian by profession, a career I once aspired to myself a long, long…long time ago. John, welcome to the moderator role; we look forward to your ongoing contributions and participation with the group.
John,
Congrats and thanks for taking on the co-moderator job. Your valued expertise in photography coupled with your love of the Pacific Northwest and Davids experience can only be a big plus in this forums future.
Cool! Excellent choice. I've always found your comments very helpful and your friendly and thoughtful online demeanor will mesh well with the moderator stuff. Hey, without your prodding I wouldn't have a personal tag line!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I hope to spend a week or two reviewing the other regional forums and prior threads here to get my bearings.
(Bruce, I still think about that tag line when I'm cursing less than optimal conditions while photographing!)
