AMAZING!
No sooner had I posted about the reason for my absence from NPN than a poodle puppy found me! I had no expectations of a puppy from a local breeder until December and was feeling pretty dismal. Much too long a wait to get a puppy into Service Dog training. Rory joined me on 6/30/11, so now I am a weary “new mom.” Snapping pics like crazy, though. A heartfelt THANK YOU to the NPN community for conveying your condolences and support to me.

It's funny how these things work out. Poodles are actually highly intelligent. Most people view them as foo-foo dogs, but they were originally bred as hunting dogs. They make good companions.
