Ghostly garden
Here's another fun type experimental shot from Arches. I took this at around midnight. There was a full moon lighting up this formation in the Devil's Garden. Wanted to see what a long exposure would do for this, hoping it would look like daytime and smooth the clouds. Even though it's not a "write home to Mom" comp, I think it came out pretty neat! I love messing around with stuff like this at night. 5D, 800 ISO, f8, 36 secs

Great color. Really like those clouds.

Nice one Pam. I like the clouds too. That is incredible color for a night shot.

That is way cool! The stars are the only thing giving it away that it's a night shot.

I really like this one, Pam! :toast:

Looks like daytime even though this was taken at night. Nicely done although maybe could use just a little more chroma noise control in the clouds and shadows. Cool!

I like it, and I don't think the comp is bad at all.

Another terrific shot from your trip! Although this resembles a daylight image, the light on the rock and those dynamic clouds make this quite appealing. I like this one a lot, too!
