Hanging out at Hanging Lake
I got to the Hanging Lake trailhead early enough yesterday to actually find a parking spot, something I wasn't able to do a few weeks ago. The trail unfortunately was totally packed with hikers. Guess the news has gotten out how beautiful this trail/lake is. Here's a shot I took of the falls. The sky was lightly overcast. If you've been there, you know the comps are very limited as you cannot exit the boardwalk.

LOL--pretty old news, Angela--which is why ill only go in Winter--picture those final steps covered in ice and you'll understand how it keeps the crowds away  Pretty shot tho :wavey:

Nice shot of a great Colorado spot indeed. Ice or no ice, the last few steps of this steep hike do keep a few people away! Hope you had a chance to see Spouting Rock up the hill too. Definitely a fun place to experience.

Nice one Angela! Great choice for your shutter speed. Now if someone would just tidy up those fallen trees
