colorado cool down
I wish I was at this place now,(it's 110 degrees right now where I'm at) instead of Kansas, but this is where I was last weekend. This is Wildhorse Peak in the Uncompagre Wilderness of western Colorado. I went mainly to scout some locations for a fall trip but came away with a few that I like. I liked the patterns created by all the snow fields here. There will be no water shortage on the western slope this summer for sure with all the snow out there.

Very cool Ken (pun intended)! CO did have a lot of snow this past season but it's still amazing to see that much residual snow in early July! If we can't be physically cool here in KS at least we can think cool thoughts of places like these. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Ken, I am really liking your "cool" shots, especially #1. There is an incredible amount of snow out there, I can tell by the river levels that are the highest they have been since 1995. Thanks for sharing.
