Denver Thunderstorm I
Denver folks had yet another thunderstorm go through last night. (Something like 7 days in a row now)

The clouds at sunset were just unreal! Did anyone else get some images?

Thanks for looking.

The quality of light last night around sunset was surreal at my house. I could see the same formation pictured here, and the light was reflecting off that upper cloud back down to the ground. Everything was a-glow - really cool. Instead of taking photos I just stood watching in amazement. The colors you captured here are really fantastic - exactly how it looked!

Great colors and tones in those clouds. We had boring clear blue skies last night as the monsoons are taking a momentary hiatus.

That is incredible! I expect to see a figure in a white robe appearing any minute.

I love the image. I was in the Denver area the 9th, 10th and 11th and experienced some of those storms but not up close and personally like my brother, his son and their wives. They were at the summit of Pikes Peak when a storm materialized out of nowhere. The range ordered all to leave immediately. They did but their automobile was hit by lightening (they say three quick bolts hit them) totally disabling the car. Fortunately no one was hurt. Jim Gavin from PNWNP.
