Need Directions to Mystic Falls

Last year someone sent me very detailed directions to mystic falls, including how to get down to the falls itself...and I misplaced them! Does anyone know the way and how to access the falls without trespassing?

The runoff is still quite strong up there. If the top crossing looks too fast/strong, don't even try and take a chance.
One bad move and you'll be swept downstream over the falls themselves.

Note that if the top creek crossing is still too hazardous, you can go back to the main forest road and drive about 1/4 mile upstream to some abandoned buildings, where a short stroll to the roaring sounds will take you to these scenic falls.
