Thanks to Todd and Jack for convincing me to head to CB!!
I originally wanted to backpack out to the passes (maroon etc) but thanks to a snowslide burying the road, I stayed near town. Which turned out well, cause all the flowers were near town anyways (as Todd correctly mentioned...) An awesome trip, and great way to really break in my 24mm TS-E!

Fantastic....I especially like the one in the post here and A Beautiful Morning Sunrise in Gothic. I'd say that lens is working really well, and of course the guy behind it!
Sweet collection of images, Stan -- all of the first page knocked me out. I'm hoping I didn't make a big mistake skipping out on CB this year for the San Juans.
Yesiree, you had one productive and beautiful trip!
Like the rest, my favorites are on page 1, but since you asked which ones really stand out for me, here we go:
'Overlooking the Valley...' 'Overlook from Gothic Rd....' 'Lupines & Sunflowers at Sunrise' 'A Beautiful Monday Sunrise...'
Which are your favorites?
A note on the last. I greatly prefer the composition of 'Monday', but find the 'development' of the flower patch of 'Slightly Different...' much more attractive.
And a question. You noted in the 'landscape' forum that you used a multi-image focal blend, but isn't one of the advantages of owning this lens the truly great DOF that it produces?
Kane--it was a tough choice, but 24 mm is wide enough for me, and i can use filters on it. The ovelook shot would have been a keeper--unfortunately there is grass blowing in front of the lens that blurs some of the flowers
John-thanks. Absolutely, the DOF is the advantage, i never would have been able to shoot these sharp from front to back w/o the tilt; i used the multi blend for exposure, not focus.
As for my favs--i like the ones no one else likes

Very nice set Stan, I find the one in this post the most stunning. Time to post mine
Hey Stan, since you describe my shots as highly creative and yours as relatively tame and straightforward, I just have one question - wanna trade? Breathtaking collection, man!

Let me know if any stand out for you.
I assume that's the TS-E II that you are playing with?
I can't pick a favorite either.

I actaully like that East River Overlook image. Love the winding river. I also like Wildflower Extreme.
Bill--yes it's the LII
