They will open Roxborough tomorrow morning at 5:00 a.m. if anyone wanted to do that. There are only a few of those each summer. I don't know the wildflower conditions, or the chance for a good sunrise there, but it is Roxborough after all.
I may try to make it, but after this week, I will only try my best to get up early enough to be there.

Nice reminder Morris. If we can get some Monsoonal Super Cell action over Denver all night then I'll be there....Is it raining yet?

I'll be there at 4:50 waiting at the gate. This will be the best early opening of the year for shooting the sunrise light, since this opening is 45 minutes before sunrise. Last month was only 30 minutes. The next early opening will be at 6:00, which will be just before or after sunrise. Last month, there was a cloud just above the horizon that blocked the early light. I doubt that will be a problem tomorrow morning. I'll be there in a blue Outback.

Roxborough State Park is about 10 miles southwest of the city of Littleton.

You didn't miss anything spectacular like last year, Stan. Barely any wildflowers and only a passable sunrise. Still great to be out!
