On the nest
Well the weather was much better today-Blue skies and 25 degrees,Only problem was the world and his wife on holiday and at the footpath with swans nesting,They didnt mind walking in front of the camera between me and the swan,a gap of less than 3 feet and didnt mind shooing the swan out of the way if the swan protested-PEOPLE,So the swans were a bit spooked and didnt pose as nicely as yesterday,This swan was a little more off the path than the others and allowed me to get nice and close without stress and even remade the bed of reeds as if i wasnt there,A real privilidge to be so close.
Canon 20D+16-35@19mm 1/60@F16 Evaluative@-1 EX550 with stofen. I use the 20D when this close as its much quieter than the 1D

Hello Dave
I like your thinking here, and the result is good. Maybe just a wee bit tight on the RHS.
Best wishes

Good wide angle composition Dave. The colours are eyecatching too. A nice change from the usual telephoto stuff.
