Water Lilies at Denver Botanic Gardens
The water lilies are in full bloom at the botanic gardens if anyone is interested! There are two main pools of them. Today I only had my macro with me, but tomorrow I am going back with the tele to get some intimates. Here's a quick processing job on one from today, just to give you an idea. Even with high contrast, these flowers rock! Happy Hot July! :wavey:

Oooh, you know I'm gonna like this, Anne! Love that clear reflection. You also handled the strong light rreally well and the colors are great. Hmmm, I must check my schedule for time at the Gardens.

This looks beautiful, Anne. The lilly bloom and reflection are beautiful. Despite the high contrast that you mention the details come through really nicely.

Wow, thanks for that info, Anne. I'm working horrible long hours right now, but if I catch a break, evening would be a great time to be there!

Very nice. Really makes for a very clean image with the dark blue water.

Love the light and colors in the shot Anne! I am a member and didn't even realize they were open that late since I always seem to go in the morning. I haven't been for awhile because of the that, but in the evening, it wouldn't be so bad! Thanks for the info :toast:

Nice shot Anne. I love the simplicity here. Almost wonder what this would look like in B&W?
