It's been awhile. That's not to say I haven't stopped by periodically. I just haven't logged in. That being the case, I'm a little out of practice (as far as posting here goes).
Don't know if this is going to work, but rather than uploading to the server, I'm entering a URL in the box just above the "Post Topic" button.
If it works, what you'll see is an Orangutan.
The image was captured in 1993 (finally got around to scanning it) at the Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary in Malaysian Borneo.
Not quite sure how to classify this guy. He's not actually a captive, but I can't say he's completely wild either.
Well! It didn't quite work the way I thought it would, but if you highlight the URL and do a copy\paste into your browser, it should take you to the image.
What they do at Sepilok is take injured\orphaned Orang's, bring them back up to snuff, and introduce them back into the wild. Don't know about know, but back in 1993 there were two sections there. Section one was a kind of intensive care unit where the critters were under more or less constant care. Section two was where they were pretty much on their own, and could move freely between the sanctuary and the surrounding forest. That's where this guy was.

The orang. image posted on your site is very noisy, fuzzy, and with an odd red colour.
Why not post here using the NPN server?

I know I can post using the NPN server, that's not a problem. I wanted to see if I could post from someplace else.
As I said it's been awhile and I'm a little rusty (at least as far as posting here at NPN goes). I used to to do it using BBB code but that was a while ago and the site's changed quite a bit since than.
The way to post a link is in the Text Style Menu. Basically, you just surround your text with a "url=XXXX" and "/url" , where the quotes are replaced with open/close brackets. It's explained better in the link.
