Does anyone have guesses as to when the flowers may be happening in the higher elevations of central Oregon this year? I know it is going to be late, but how late is the question. Jeff Park, Canyon Creek Meadows and Three Sisters Wilderness are usually good at the end of July/first of August but Chip Phillips was just at Jeff Park and it sounds like everything is still snowed in. Much appreciated to anyone who can share updates on this thread as things progress. Cheers!

I can't help with those specific areas, but the Crater Lake Rim road just opened all the way around, if that helps you gauge the season generally.

I was up around Skyline Drive and Timothy Lake south of Mount Hood over the weekend and saw lots of Rhodies looking in their prime, which is also late. Good bear grass, too.

I was debating about taking a quick run to Mt. Rainier with some neighbors Monday, but was discouraged by the amount of snow still remaining. I would love to catch some Avalanche Lilies this year; if anyone comes across good patches I'd love an update.

John - Yeah, David Cobb is at Rainier this week and says there is 5-6 feet of snow at Paradise. Greg - Timothy Lake area sounds nice right about now.
