Pika, Marmots and Elk...oh my!
Spent yesterday running up to RMNP and over trail ridge road. Found a nice collection of the main three animals I run into at RMNP (listed in the title). Also, ran into Dan again...he seems to be everywhere! I think he is actually triplets and is messing with my head!!!

In this first shot, I managed to find a yelping marmot off the side of the road.

Sweet photos Kurt...I was there also but didn't see you. I love the teeth display and the tongue detail on the marmot!!

The Elk shot is fantastic. The marmot makes me think of them eating tires.

Great shots Kurt. That first shot is awesome. Sell it to a dentist. Like the elk a lot too.

Great job Kurt! Love that marmot shot. The elk on the tundra really turned out nice.

Very nice set, Kurt! While 1 is funny--2 is the real winner for me!

I like 2 for the marmot's lazy/bored look on the restful perch.

Who knew marmots had ridged tongues??? Crazy details in your shots Kurt!

Heh heh..."sell it to a dentist".

Outstanding work yet again, Kurt! I like every one of 'em equally. As always, thanks for sharing your work with your more wildlife deprived peers.
