Crested Butte report from today
After seeing all the posts about CB I had to get over there to see for myself. Went Monday am and had to be back today by noon. I was amazed of the fields of flowers on display.

#1 from Gothic Road- very typical scene

# 2 Gothic was very good. Washington Gulch road was also good. Made the drive to Paradise Basin and back down slate Creek. Slate Creek Rd had very few displays. Still cannot make the loop from Gothic Rd to Paradise.

These are beautiful, Bob. It looks like you handled the contrasty light here exceptionally well too.

# 3 Sunrise this am from Gothic Road shooting East. Clouds in West did not light up

# 4 Brush Creek Road - flowers are going fast- most areas receive sun all day. There has been a lot of photographer traffic in these flowers and with the traffic on this road the flowers are very dusty. Need some rain.

Really nice work Bob. I'll have to go with #3 as my favorite

Incredible work Bob, especially for one day. I like them all and #1 is my favorite.

A beautiful display of flowers up there! I like the variety you captured in #1 and the great limited DOF in #5.
Skies look a bit funky in the first two. GND or vignetting of some sort?

All of these great images of slopes decked with flowers make me yearn to be in CO now.
I especially like #5 and the solitary yellow flower standing apart and in focus. The darker background area at the top gives the image depth too.

That is one nice collection. I'll echo what John said about the first two having dark skies, but a little balance there and they will be killer! The other 3 are just as sweet. You know I'm gonna like me some wilflower images.

Bib, these are really, really nice! I think #2 is my favorite...the colors throughout all are great and like the comp throughout as well.
